FAQ

The app asks for a birth chart before it shows me anything. Why?

Because everything in it is computed from your chart. There's no sun-sign fallback, since a sun-sign fallback is exactly the thing this app exists to replace.

I don't know my birth time.

Say so when you create the profile. The app computes the chart for local noon and marks the parts that aren't trustworthy — the houses, the Ascendant and the Midheaven, and the Moon's exact degree. The rest of the chart is still meaningful.

My chart doesn't match another app.

First check the house system — Placidus and whole sign disagree about which house something falls in, and different apps default differently. Then check the birth time and time zone: one hour moves the Moon half a degree and the Ascendant by roughly 15°. If the planets themselves differ by more than a few arcminutes, please write to us.

Why does it say my houses were 'degraded'?

Above the polar circle, part of the ecliptic never rises, and Placidus houses have no solution there. Rather than quietly producing numbers that mean nothing, the app switches to equal houses and tells you it did.

Is my data backed up or synced?

No. Everything is stored locally on the device, so it's included in an encrypted iPhone backup, but there's no cloud sync and no account. If you delete the app, the data goes with it.

Does the daily tarot card change if I reopen the app?

No. It's derived from the date and the profile, so it's the same card until midnight. That's deliberate: a card you can reshuffle until you like it isn't telling you anything.

Is there a subscription?

No. There are no in-app purchases, no ads and no paywall.
